Dr. Marie Bolin grew up near Eagle, NE where she was homeschooled through high school. She attended the University of Nebraska where she graduated with a B.S. in Nutrition Science. She then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she was awarded the Excellence in Vision Therapy award. She graduated in 2016 with her Doctorate of Optometry. She then completed a residency in pediatrics, vision therapy, and traumatic brain injuries in Plano, TX at Neuro-Vision Associates of North Texas. Following residency, she worked as a binocular vision specialist in Omaha, NE at Heartland Eye Consultants for 3 years. She is currently working towards her Fellowship in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Bolin is a member of the Nebraska Optometry Association, American Optometric Association, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association.
Marie is married to Christopher Waldrop who is a project manager & engineer at Vulcraft. In their free time they enjoy spending time with their new daughter and two dogs as well as working on projects around the house. They are members of Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Marie is excited to have the opportunity to join the team at Authier Miller Pape and bring her expertise in binocular vision and vision therapy to the area.
